CRULP_Urdu_Phonetic-2013 Free Download
If you have installed Urdu as an input language on your computer, you may have noticed that the default Urdu keyboard in Windows 7 is not very user friendly. A much more user friendly keyboard for the Urdu language is available, called the "Phonetic keyboard".
As its name suggests, Urdu letters have been mapped to the keys on your keyboard by phonetics, i.e. the way they sound. So, the key A becomes ا, B becomes ب, and so on.
This tutorial outlines the steps to install the Urdu Phonetic Keyboard on your system.
Download the "Urdu Phonetic Keyboard" installed attached as CRULP_Urdu_Phonetic_setup(2).rar
This installer has been taken from the Center for Research in Urdu Language Processing (CRULP) website and due credit is given for their work on this project. This installer may be downloaded from their website as well.
